Evie

Today’s face: Evie, inspired by Sktchy and Inktober 2017 day 10, prompt ”gigantic”. This was way, way outside my comfort zone but I’ve had the inspiration photo in my Sktchy queue for a very long time so I decided to throw caution to the wind and just have some fun!

Drawn in a Daler-Rowney Ebony sketchbook with Kuretake Zig Menso brushes and Dr Ph Martins Black Star India ink.

Michael

Today’s face: Michael, inspired by Sktchy and Inktober 2017. Today’s prompt for day 8 of Inktober is crooked and I decided to draw from a photo of Michael’s that has been sitting at the bottom of my Sktchy queue ever since I joined! I love the photo but I think I’ve also been very intimidated by it and so have avoided drawing it for a long time. I’m so glad I decided to draw it now because I think it turned out pretty well.

Drawn in a Daler-Rowney Ebony sketchbook with Micron 01 and 05 pens and Copic markers.

Maya’s

Today’s face: Maya, inspired by Sktchy and the Inktober 2017 prompt for day 5, sword. “The pen is mightier than the sword” Edward Bulwer-Lytton.
