Gail

Today’s face: Gail, inspired by Sktchy. This week’s Old School Sktchy challenge is to Draw another Old School Sktchy member and I was very happy to draw Gail, a longtime Sktchy artist friend.

Drawn in a Fabriano watercolour sketchbook with a Micron 01 pen and painted with Zecchi Toscana watercolours.

Skylar’s Superman

Today’s face: Skylar’s Superman, inspired by Sktchy. This is a commission I drew for a Sktchy client, who asked me to turn her friend/ boyfriend/partner (I don’t know?) into Superman. It was super fun to do.

Merve

Today’s face: Merve, inspired by Sktchy. Sometimes when I’ve got a drawing challenge on my mind I’m instinctively drawn to images that are pretty much the exact opposite of the challenge. It’s the rebel in me. So this is my initial response to this week’s OSS WAX challenge, the theme for which is obscured. I’ll do a proper challenge portrait over the weekend but today this is what I needed to draw.
