Sktchy is having a paperless portrait party this weekend, challenging us to draw on something other than paper. I bought this 5” coffin for Halloween last year and didn’t get around to decorating it. It was the perfect canvas for Vanessa’s portrait.
Drawn on a 5″ Hobbycraft wooden coffin with HB Pencil and Posca pens.

I don’t know why this portrait ended up sloping so much – it just did. It’s not the scan, that’s how it looks in my sketchbook too! Weird. I guess this was one of those days when I wasn’t as focused as I would like to be on what I was doing.
Drawn in a Leuchtthurm 1917 sketchbook with a Micron 01 pen, Copic markers and Posca pens.
